A Chic Event at Stanley Ranch Napa
Only 13 minutes from my doorstep—and what a dream of a venue to have so close to home.
Stanley Ranch in Napa Valley has evolved beautifully over the past few years, especially through the pandemic. Now it feels like the epitome of modern wine country elegance—where architecture, nature, and design sing in harmony. From the modern lines to the elevated farm-chic vibe, this property is styled down to the last detail—including the hats, boots, and tailored jackets worn by the warm, welcoming staff. It’s got that Aspen-meets-Napa energy.
Every event space on property is distinct, and for this one, we were in the Glass House—a venue surrounded by floor-to-ceiling windows. While it can be a little tricky to photograph (hello, reflections!), it’s also a creative lighting dream.
When I arrived, it was misty and windy. But then—pure California magic—the skies cleared, and the evening turned into one of those golden-hour moments you dream about. The guests enjoyed a stunning dinner designed by one of our go-to planners, The Valley Girls, with florals by the endlessly talented Juniper of Floral 💐. Her work always feels fresh, ethereal, and sophisticated—perfect for an elevated business dinner that still carried a touch of whimsy.
The next day? Wine tasting adventures, culminating in a divine lunch at Gargiulo Vineyards, overlooking the valley. Dreamy doesn’t even begin to cover it.
And the grand finale: a private buyout of iconic Bouchon in Yountville. The food? Melt-in-your-mouth, melt-your-brain kind of good. We were even invited into the kitchen (such an honor)—though no photos were allowed out of respect for Thomas Keller’s request for privacy. The entire experience, as always, was flawlessly executed by The Valley Girls, who make every guest feel like Napa royalty.
